- TRANSPERSONAL
The Transpersonal encompasses all human experiences, physical, psychological and spiritual that impinges on us in one way or another. When the transpersonal is included in personal work, transformation is more complete and permanent. This is a sacred psychology.
- REBT
Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy is one of the cognitive-behavioural approaches to psychotherapy that focus on psychological disturbance, psychological health and therapeutic change. It is an approach to psychotherapy and counselling which is based on the idea that people experience emotional, behavioural and symptom problems mainly because they hold self defeating unhealthy beliefs.
- CBT
Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy is the most common form of psychological therapy used in the NHS today. It is very goal-focused orientated. It assumes that thoughts affect feelings which in turn affect behaviour. CBT seeks to alter habitual maladaptive thought patterns. Unrealistic expectations, wishful thinking, living in the past (or future) and over generalizing can all lead to disappointment and frustration.
- CBH
Cognitive Behaviour Hypnotherapy is a psycho educational approach to therapy, which aims to recognise and understand unhealthy and healthy negative beliefs, and how they affect people thoughts, feelings, behaviours and symptoms. Cognitive therapy emphasizes a rational and positive world view.
- NLP
Neurolinguistic programming is a powerful form of brief psychotherapy that taps into the unconscious, breaking destructive behaviour patterns enabling transformation to take place. It examines the relationships between thought, communication and behaviour.
- LIFE COACHING
It is a goal orientated approach, which facilitates people potential in order to achieve a better quality of life. Coaching helps people to set compelling and achievable goals, and provide them with clear action plans, whilst keeping people motivated, focused and overcoming obstacles.
- BACP
British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy aims to promote and assure high standards in the profession of counselling and psychotherapy. Membership demands high standards of training and ethical practice.
